My Photo Album - Excellence for Singapore Award, August 2002

			Receiving the award from former President of Singapore, Dr Wee Kim Wee at the Gala Dinner held at the Shangri-la Hotel, Singapore.

			The ESA recipients with former President Wee and the Panel of Adjudicators - Mr Joe Pillay, Dr Yeo Ning Hong and Mr Sim Kee Boon.  Absent: Mr Lim Kim San.
			Each winner received a specially-minted Excellence for Singapore solid gold medallion and was given the privilege of selecting a non-profit organisation or organisations that promoted their fields of excellence, to receive a sum of $10,000 donated by Tote Board.  In my case, $5,000 were donated to the NTU Endowment Fund and $5,000 to the Association for Informatics in Medicine, Singapore (AIMS).
