			My big break into Medical Informatics - hosting MEDINFO '89, 6th World Congress on Medical Informatics, Singapore, December 1989 at the Raffles City Convention Centre. - Cover of Gala Dinner Souvenir Program.  I was the Chair of the Organizing Committee which helped the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) to relocate the world meeting to Singapore within 6 months, following the Tian-an-men incident in China.  The meeting was also a financial success for IMIA, making MEDINFO'89 one of the most profitable World Congress on Medical Informatics.
