Back row - tallest person standing in the middle - Dr Ahmad Ashour (Director, Jeddah Maternity and Children's Hospital, Saudi Arabia) was one of the course participants who subsequently invited me and Lief Bakketieg to conduct the same course in his hospital in Jeddah. For the round-trip from Singapore to Jeddah, my Saudi host gave me a first class ticket on Saudia Airlines.
The Beijing trip also gave me the chance to climb the Great Wall of China at Badaling for the first time and I had a 'certificate' to prove it !
